Michael Steigemann, Head of Software Development, Authorized Signatory and Partner at WIGeoGIS Munich, studied economic geography at the LMU Munich and completed an internship in Shanghai and Beijing before joining WIGeoGIS in 2001.
He is responsible for application development and managing the team in the IT Department at WIGeoGIS Germany. His activities include hybrid project management using traditional and agile methods, acquisition, sales support, project management and controlling. Since his appointment as an Authorized Signatory in 2006, he has also been part of the management team.
Since 2017, Steigemann has also been involved in GIS and sensor-based video analysis as a partner at SAIMOS. He is also a mentor for sustainable energy production and impact investing at Solar2030.
