TomTom Appoints WIGeoGIS To Distribute Fresh Maps And Location Content For Local Customers
TomTom, the world’s leading provider of location and navigation products and services, today announces the appointment of WIGeoGIS, a European geomarketing pioneer, as the official distributor of TomTom maps and location content for local customers in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria.Through this agreement, TomTom and WIGeoGIS will help more mapping industry partners to bring their solutions to market. WIGeoGIS will provide map data and location content to local industry partners who are then able to deliver a wide range of applications to business-to-business sub-segments.

Under the agreement, WIGeoGIS will support and offer local customers all TomTom map products, including MultiNet, and the following enhanced premium products: 2D City Maps, 3D City Maps, 3D Landmark and Icons, Address Points, Advanced City Models, Logistics, Points of Interest, Voice Maps, Speed Profiles, Urban Maps, Digital Elevation Models, World Boundary Maps. TomTom Licensing will continue to maintain direct contact with global customers, delivering the complete TomTom portfolio of product and service solutions.
